State-Wide MLS Hires New VP of MLS & Member ServicesWarwick, RI, June 13, 2018…The Rhode Island Association of Realtors and State-Wide Multiple Listing Service (MLS) have announced that John Breault will assume the position of Vice President, MLS & Member Services as of August 1st. Breault will be responsible for directing MLS staff in their efforts to advance the products and services of the organization to meet subscribers’ current and future needs. He will also serve as the primary liaison and advisor to the State-Wide MLS Board of Directors. Breault has been in the real estate industry for 32 years, starting at what was then the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors in Springfield, MA. Since then, he has held numerous positions with several organizations in the real estate industry, with increasing responsibilities spanning both membership and MLS. Most recently, he worked in the capacity of Director of Customer Support and Quality Assurance with MLS Property Information Network, Inc. (MLS PIN) which serves more than 37,000 customers. In addition to his work with MLS PIN, Breault has been very active at the national level. He serves on two sections of the Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS) and is also an instructor for CMLX (Certified Multiple Listing Executive) designation classes, having himself obtained the CMLX1 and CMLX2 designations. Additionally, he is active in the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO), where he has been recognized for the past three years for his contributions. “I am absolutely thrilled that John will be joining the team here in Rhode Island,” said Philip Tedesco, RIAR’s Chief Executive Officer. “John is recognized nationally in the MLS industry. His depth of knowledge and technical expertise are going to be incredible assets to our organization.” Breault graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Becker College. A native of Pawtucket, RI, he currently resides with his wife in Rutland, MA. |
