Brenda L. Marchwicki Installed as 2017 President of the R.I. Association of RealtorsWarwick, RI - The Rhode Island Association of Realtors has announced that Brenda L. Marchwicki, GRI, SRES, CRS, has been installed as 2017 President of the 4900-member organization. She is the Principal Broker and Owner of BisMarc Properties, LLC in Providence, Rhode Island. Marchwicki was the immediate past Chairperson of the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation’s Real Estate Commission. She also served as the 2013 President of the Greater Providence Board of REALTORS® and as a board member of the Providence Diocese Real Estate Division. An active member of the community, she was the first female President of the 100 Club of Rhode Island, a charitable organization which provides financial assistance to the families of police officers, fire fighters and paramedics who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Marchwicki is a licensed REALTOR® in Rhode Island and Massachusetts and a licensed auctioneer in Rhode Island. A consistent top producer and recipient of Circle of Excellence Awards from the Greater Providence Board of Realtors, she graduated from Katherine Gibbs and continued her education at Johnson and Wales University. She resides with her husband, Edward, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Other 2017 officers recently installed by the Realtor Association include: President-elect, Joseph Luca of RE/MAX Preferred in North Providence; Vice President, Danielle Thompson of RE/MAX River’s Edge in Bristol; Treasurer, Dean deTonnancourt of HomeSmart Professionals Real Estate in Warwick; and Secretary, Shannon Buss of William Raveis Real Estate in Newport. |
