State-Wide Multiple Listing Service Announces New Officers and Directors

Warwick, RI, November 8, 2016…Duane Boucher of Boucher Real Estate in Woonsocket, R.I., was reappointed to lead State-Wide Multiple Listing Service (MLS) as President for a second term in 2017. Mindy Lane of Keller Williams Realty in Cranston will serve as 2017 Vice President and Christopher Whitten of Premeer Real Estate in Johnston will serve as the 2017 Treasurer of the real estate information exchange service.  The three officers were recently installed at the 2017 RI Realtors Installation and Recognition Dinner.

A resident of Cumberland, R.I., Boucher has served on numerous local and statewide Realtor boards and was the recipient of the Realtor Five Diamond/Platinum Award for Excellence in Sale Achievement from 2011 through 2015.  He is a licensed broker in R.I. and MA and has earned six professional designations: Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI); Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR); Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES); Seller Representative Specialist (SRS); Certified Buyer Representative (CBR); and Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR). Boucher graduated cum laude from Nichols College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in the fields of finance and real estate.

Libby Kirwin of Libby Kirwin Real Estate, Ltd., in Newport, R.I. was also installed as a new member of the Board of Directors of State-Wide MLS.  She joins current directors, Gregory Dantas and John Biafore of the Kent Washington Association of Realtors; Robert Martin of the Northern Rhode Island Board of Realtors; Jeffrey Butler and Steve Kirby of the Rhode Island Commercial and Appraisal Board of Realtors, Richard Epstein and Rita Danielle Steele of the Greater Providence Board of Realtors; and Stephen Larsen of the Newport County Board of Realtors.

State-Wide Multiple Listing Service, a subsidiary of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors, facilitates real estate information data exchange among MLS members and shares listing and housing information with consumers through www.riliving.com.
