Yatsko Named 2016 President of the R.I. Association of RealtorsWarwick, RI, October 28, 2015...The Rhode Island Association of Realtors (RIAR) has announced that Arthur Yatsko, GRI, AHWD, ESRES, will serve as 2016 president of the 4400-member organization. Yatsko, the Broker/Owner of the Salisbury Agency, will assume the presidency upon his return from the National Association of Realtors Conference in San Diego, CA in November. A licensed real estate agent since 1977, Yatsko is a past President of the Rhode Island Commercial and Appraisal Board of Realtors and was twice elected the Board’s Realtor of the Year. He has also served as a Director of the State-Wide Multiple Listing service, RIAR representative on the RI Department of Environmental Management’s Business Roundtable and Environmental Justice Committee, RIAR Government Affairs Committee member, and Chair of the Realtor Troop Support Task Force which aids military families with housing-related needs. He is a graduate of Providence College and resides in Warwick with his wife, Maggie. Other 2016 officers installed at the Association’s 2015 Installation and Recognition Dinner include: President-Elect, Brenda Marchwicki of BisMarc Properties in Providence, RI; Vice President, Joseph Luca of RE/MAX Preferred in North Providence, RI; Treasurer, Danielle Thompson of RE/MAX River’s Edge in Bristol, RI ; and Secretary, Joseph McCarthy of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Warwick, RI. New and re-appointed directors on the RIAR board include Agueda Del Borgo of Place & Spaces Realty; Peter Izzi of HomeSmart Professionals RE ; Mary Shekarchi of Shawomet Realty Company;, Stephen Antoni, Mott & Chase; Sally Hersey of Williams & Stuart Real Estate ; Alyce Wright of Lila Delman Real Estate; David Serpa of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage; Richard Carrubba of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Newport; and James Moore of Peter M. Scotti & Associates.
